Cash Acme SharkBite U335 Not Lead FreeHy-Ear Drop Ear Elbows in 1/2 by 1/2 uses a push-fit connection system. They are the fastest, and easiest way to join Copper, CPVC, or Pex pipe in any combination. Disassembly of a connection is just as fast using the simple disconnect tool (Demount Clip). These SharkBite U335 fittings can even be rotated after assembly for easier installation in tight spaces.
Sharkbite Fittings are made of DZR (dezincification resistant) brass which provides a strong, durable fitting that is corrosion resistant. The SharkBite is designed and certified to ANSI/NSF-61 and ASSE 1061 product standard for use in hydronic heating Systems and are not lead free.
