Floor heating systems are uniquely designed for total heating comfort in homes, offices, bathrooms, kitchens and other
small or large areas where electric floor heating is the primary or secondary solution of choice.
Radimo Radimat floor heating systems come on a mesh in a mat form.
The Radimat floor heating mat is a twin conductor heating cable with a 10ft power lead pre-attached on one end. The heating
cable is woven or affixed to a fiber-based mesh with the help of Adhesive tape. It is pre-terminated on the other end (no
power loop return). The heating cable consists of a resistance-heating element insulated with fluoropolymer (FP) with high
dielectric strength and providing high temperature protection, making the heating cable totally safe. A metal ground sheath
is provided to give additional mechanical strength and electrical grounding path. A final outer jacket of PV C is applied to
make it sturdier and provide corrosion protection. The hot and cold junction or ‘factory splice’ and is designed to
be 100% waterproof, safe and secure.

The most common and effective floor coverings are tile, stone and related materials. The reason is that the mass and
density of these materials offer the best results when capturing the heat from the cables and radiate the heat through
the room.
Radimo electric floor heating systems can however be installed under other types of surfaces includes vinyl, laminates and
more. A layer of self-leveling cement of about 3/8” needs to be poured over the cables and mats to create a ‘heat bank’ and
conform to the rules of a safe and efficient install.
