Activent is an innovative electronically controlled air register which opens or closes
to maintain a constant room temperature. When the Activent closes, the heated, or cooled
air in air conditioning mode, moves to other portions of the home heating the house faster
and more efficently. Installing a few Activents in a house will add comfort and energy
savings as well. Each Activent will increase energy savings up to 5% per vent.

After installing the Activent the homeowner sets the desired temperature for the room
using the wireless Remote Temperature Controller (RTC). Then the RTC communicates with
the Activent louver system to maintain the desired temperature. The Remote Temperature
Controller (RTC) is easy to adjust for any comfortable room temperature. Switching the
RTC to the heater mode in winter or the AC mode in summer creates a comfortable environment
while saving money. The RTC can also be used to manually open and close the Activent louver system.
LED lights, on the cover of the RTC, indicate if batteries need to be changed in the Activent
louver system or the RTC unit.
