Bosch Aquastar 250SX Tankless Water Heater Venting Options
Important Bosch 250SX Venting Information
|
NOTE: The Bosch Aquastar 250SX exhaust must be vented to the outside
with a sealed 3" stainless steel vent pipe (AL29-4C). The appliance's flue
gases are under positive pressure and must travel through a stainless steel
3" pipe that is sealed gas tight. Stainless steel vent pipe is equipped with
sealing gaskets for ease of installation, proper safety and durability. The
heater shall not be vented in combination with any other appliance and the
appliance must only be vented with a dedicated sealed vent system.
COMBUSTION AIR
Because the Bosch AquaStar 250SX has direct vent room-sealed combustion, it
can obtain make-up (combustion) air from inside the home (ambient air) or
from outside the home. It is recommended to pipe the combustion air from
outside the home as this is generally cleaner air, allowing for less
maintenance on the water heater and a longer life expectancy of the unit.
