Hot Boiler Treatments - Cleaner and Corrosion Inhibitor

Description
Hydro-Solv 9100 is a concentrated triple action Hydronic Heating System cleaner,
dispersant, and corrosion inhibitor. It will quickly remove accumulations
of scale, corrosion, organic material, flux residue, cutting oils, dirt
and debris.
Advantages
Rhomar Hydro-Solv 9100 is the product of choice for existing and new boiler
installations. It is recommended that all new hydronic systems be cleaned
and passivated with Hydro-Solv 9100 prior to putting the hot water boiler in service.
The Rhomar boiler water treatment will penetrate and disperse a broad range of mineral and organic foulants
and help recover lost efficiency in older fouled and corroded systems.
In addition, Hydro-Solv 9100 will passivate system metals to provide
protection from future corrosion. When used as directed, it effectively
cleans iron, copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. It is also
compatible with Pex, Pex-AL-Pex, Rubber tubing and many other
Hydronic system components. Hydro-Solv 9100 contains no acids or heavy metals.
Directions
- Open all zone valves on system to be cleaned
- Thoroughly flush the system to remove as many contaminants as possible.
- Add Hydro-Solv 9100TM cleaner at the rate of 1 gallon per 50 gallons of system water.
- New Installations: Circulate Hydro-Solv 9100 cleaner 4-6 hours and flush
system until water becomes tap water clear.
Older Systems: Circulate for several days or weeks until water becomes
noticeably fouled, then flush until clear. Should water become very fouled within
several days, additional cleaning should be performed. Repeat until water remains
clean. Thoroughly flush to remove cleaner.
Note: Heating the system to operating temperature will shorten cleaning time
and improve results.
- Add Rhomar Pro-Tek 922TM corrosion and scale inhibitor treatment for long time protection.
