MZ25S, MZ25C AND MZ40C WARRANTY
Monitor Products, Inc., (MPI), guarantees that the MZ equipment will be free of manufacturing defects for a period of one year from the date of installation. MPI will replace any parts, which fail due to manufacturing defects during the first year. For residential and commercial installations, during the second through fifth years following installation, MPI guarantees that the burner, heating elements and heating element body on the MZ unit and the domestic-hot-water flash tank in the MZ25S unit will be free from manufacturing defect. MPI will replace any burner, MZ25S flash tank, heating elements or heating body that fails due to manufacturing defect during the first five years after installation. During the sixth through tenth years following the date of installation, MPI guarantees that the heating elements and heating element body (heat exchanger) of the MZ unit will be free from manufacturing defect. MPI will replace any heating elements or heating body that fails due to manufacturing defect during the first ten years after installation. MPI will honor this warranty only for MZ equipment that was installed according to MPI's installation instructions. MPI will honor this warranty only for MZ equipment that was maintained according to the instructions accompanying the MZ unit. Use of the MZ in applications where the combustion air to the MZ is contaminated with harmful chemicals will void this warranty. Such chemicals include, but are not limited to, chlorine, fluorine, bromine, cleaning solvents, fumes from acid cleaning or treating processes, metal dusts or fumes, and air laden with the gaseous or particulate products of poultry, hog or cattle confinement. Use of the MZ in applications where any water additives other than uninhibited ethylene or propylene glycol stabilized with INIBAL, according to MPI's guidelines for anti-freeze use, will void the heating-element warranty. MPI will honor this warranty only after the failed part has been returned to MPI along with the serial number from the unit's nameplate and proof of installation date. MPI will not be responsible for the cost of the labor required to remove or replace any failed part, the cost of transporting failed or replacement parts or any damages resulting from the failure of the equipment. This written warranty is the only warranty in force for MZ equipment. No verbal warranty exists, or can be given by anyone, for MZ products.
