Primary Loop Boiler Piping for Radiant Heat and Hydronic Heating Systems One of the best ways to pipe radiant heating systems. Return to Previous Page |
|
Primary Loop Piping is commonly used in hydronic heating systems that run needing multiple temperatures. (Example: 180-degree's for hydronic baseboards zone(s) and another zone of 100-degrees for pex radiant heat zone.) Primary Loop Piping allows non condensing boilers to maintain a heat level in the boiler high enough to allow the boiler to run at its most efficient state. Using a Primary Loop can save you up to 15 to 20% on your heating bills and besaides every hot water boiler sold in the USA requires a primary loop. Primary Loop Piping also works well with condensing boilers allowing proper flow through the boiler for the highest rate of heat delivery. Below are some examples of Primary Loop Piping: |

This is a Primary Loop with the same temperature as the Heat Source
This is a Primary Loop with one temperature the same as the Heat Source and one temperature that can be lowered
This is a Primary Loop with two mixing valves All Items shown can be obtained from HouseNeeds.com
