Model SPC - Set Point Control
The SPC (set-point control) series senses
temperature, pressure or humidity and provides a S.P.D.T (single
pole, double throw output.) It is used whenever on/off or two
position control is desired. Features include 1/2" LED display
of sensed and set point values. In addition, the set point and
differential are adjustable. Utilizing solid state sensors, which
can be located up to 500' from the control, it maintains a high
degree of accuracy throughout its entire range.
|
Typical Applications:
- Two position valve actuators
- Two position damper actuators
- Pump start/stop
- Temperature alarms
- Boiler control
- Chiller control
- Walk-in boxes
- Zone control
- Radiant Heat Systems

Model TSC - Set Point Control
The TSC Set Point Control is ideal whenever two stages of control are needed to maintain
your set point. This applies to dual control of boilers, water heaters, fans, refrigeration
units, chillers, as well as other equipment used in heating, cooling or humidity. It can also
be used to control lo/hi fire boilers. Finally, the TSC can control a single stage and one
alarm point. In this type of application, if the system drifts above or below a critical
set point, the control will activate an alarm.
|
Features:
- 1/2 inch LED displays of actual and set point values
- Adjustable hi and lo set points
- LED indication of output status
- Field configurable for heating or cooling applications
- Solid state sensors can be extended up to 500' from the control
- Accuracy of ±1°F or 1% of full scale
- Fits on standard 4x4 electrical box

Model HWE - Hot Water Reset Control
This series of controls are specifically designed
for residential and light commercial buildings. These controls
will start and stop the boiler(s) or modulate a motorized valve
to vary the system water temperature into a building's radiation
in accordance with changes in outside temperature.
They are also recommended for Radiant Floor Heating Applications.
|
Features:
- Adjustable Outdoor Temperature Cutoff ratios
- Adjustable Reset Ratios and Offsets
- Domestic Hot Water Priority (Models HWE Single-Stage)
- System Pump Output
- Indication of Setback, DHW Priority, and Heat On
- Sensor Diagnostics
- Manual Override
- Remote Overrides (Thermostat shut down)
- Auto Lead Stage Rotation for Multiple Boiler Applications
- Boiler Return Sensor (HWE-MOV Only)

Model VSP - Variable Speed Pump Control
The VSP is ideal for most radiant or residential
and light commercial hydronic heating. One primary loop can accommodate
many different zones, each with its own VSP and its own heat requirements.
For example, a kitchen with in-floor radiant heat requires constant
circulation of low temperature water. Meanwhile, a bedroom with baseboard heat requires
higher water temperatures to be circulated when the room is occupied and lower temperatures
otherwise. The VSP is designed to handle these situations and more.
It can
accept a thermostat input to shut a zone down when space temperatures are comfortable. It can
accept a setback signal to reduce the temperature of the circulating heating water when a zone
is not occupied. The VSP can act as an outdoor reset control. As the outdoor temperature
drops, the VSP can automatically increase the temperature of the heating water. So space
temperatures are constant and comfortable no matter what the weather brings. The VSP can even
be used as a set point control for any load that requires a constant temperature
regardless of outdoor temperature. This versatility, along with seamless control, makes the VSP
the new benchmark.
|
Features:
- 1/2" LED display
- Temperature are displayed in 1 degree increments
- Two operating modes: Reset or Set Point
- Adjustable Outdoor System Start Point can be disabled
- Reset Ratios from 1:4 to 8:1 (Out:Water)
- Dry Contact Input for Remote Enable/Disable or Setback
- Temperature can be displayed in Fahrenheit or Celsius
- Control settings are maintained in EEPROM and are not lost if power is lost

Model RSM - Residential Snow & Ice Melt
The Heat-Timer RSM is designed to control
under slab heating systems used to melt ice or snow. It can be
used in driveways, staircases, sidewalks, or other locations which
must be kept clear on snow or ice. The RSM will activate the slab
heating system when the outdoor temperature is low enough that
ice or snow could form. The slab temperature is controlled by
monitoring the difference between the slab supply temperature
and the slab return temperature, the Delta T. This Delta T is
then used to regulate the temperature of the slab supply. When
there is no precipitation, the RSM will remain in an idle mode,
holding the Delta T which has been designed into the slab configuration.
Once precipitation begins, the Delta T will increase as the slab
will need more energy to melt and evaporate the moisture. The
RSM will register the increase in Delta T and begin to increase
the amount of heat going to the slab until the design Delta T
is once again obtained. The maximum slab supply temperature is
adjustable so the unit can be used on a wide variety of slab configurations,
such as pavers, concrete, asphalt, or even bare ground.
|
Features:
- LED display of Outside air temperature, Slab supply temperature, Slab return
temperature, Actual system Delta T, Slab design Delta T and Maximum slab supply temperature
- Outdoor air temperature sensor
- Slab supply and return temperature sensors
- Adjustable slab design Delta T
- Adjustable maximum slab supply temperature
- Outdoor temperature system cutoff
- Slab heating system output
- Motorized valve output
