The Taco Zone Sentry Zone Valves enhances the overall performance of any hydronic zone
valve system. The Sentry Series Zone Valves uses up to 93% less energy than other commonly
installed zone valves. The unique patented technology in the Taco Zone Sentry utilizes a microcircuit
based logic to control a gear driven electronic actuator which drives a ball valve based body
design. All this adds up to a zone valve that leads the industry in energy efficiency,
flow capacity (Cv), shutoff pressure rating, ease of installation, diagnostic capability
and the number of valves (12) that can be use on a standard 40VA transformer

The Taco 570 Series Zone Valves are leak proof. Beryllium copper
bellows separate system water from the atmosphere for positive and leak proof
operation. Energy saver — heat motor is not constantly energized while the valve is open.
Heavy bronze body with sweat connections, globe valve construction with
E.P. seat ensures tight shut-off for trouble free service.
Power head does not have to be removed to install.
All Taco Zone Valves are factory tested prior to shipment.

The Taco EBV Zone Valve are the smartest zone valves around, so smart that it “thinks for itself.” Based on
the Energy Storage Principle, the EBV is a gear-driven, capacitor-powered valve that’s loaded
with innovative technology. This patented technology replaces the typical spring with a Prostar
Capacitor for returning the valve to its normal position. In addition, Taco has replaced the
old-style synchronous AC motor with an exceptionally reliable, high-torque, high-efficiency
miniature motor. By replacing these two failure items, the EBV Zone Valve delivers unrivalled
dependability, and there’s a size for every application.
